SnubberBuddy® is made by Poseidon Technik Ltd, a UK-based marine hardware supplier. We built the Anchor Chain Quick Release Shackle to solve one specific problem: releasing an anchor snubber usually means hauling the chain up by hand first — exactly when you can least afford the time, in a blow, a sudden wind shift, or a crowded anchorage.

The shackle clips onto your anchor chain via a spring-loaded gate and stays there — no tension needed to hold it in place. When you need to release, one pull on the line does it, from the bow or run aft to the cockpit. No need to bring the chain up first.

It’s rated to a 5,500kg break load and 1,375kg working load, and fits 8mm, 10mm and 12mm ISO and DIN chain.
